An Evening to Remember: Watch Care with Oris in Basel

On October 3rd, we had the privilege of hosting a private evening at the beautiful Maison Oris in Basel, where a small group of collectors and enthusiasts joined us to celebrate the art of watch care. The event was intimate, memorable, and full of the kind of conversations that make our work at AIS Collective so meaningful.

Surrounded by passionate watch lovers, we shared drinks, exchanged stories, and dove into the rituals that keep our most treasured timepieces in pristine condition.

Hands-On Watch Care in a Private Setting

The elegant setting of Maison Oris gave us the perfect backdrop to demonstrate our Swiss-made watch cleaners and tools. Guests had the chance to experience the ChronoPen — our signature instrument for cleaning metal and rubber watch parts and the ChronoLeatherPen, designed specifically for delicate leather straps.

For many, the highlight was testing the brand-new BronzePen, a unique innovation for bronze watches that allows owners to reset patina safely and precisely. The “before and after” comparisons, using the BronzePen, were remarkable. Even seasoned collectors, who thought that their home remedies would be sufficient, were fascinated to see the bronze patina vanish within seconds. Seeing collectors use our watch cleaning kit and watching their pieces regain their natural brilliance was both rewarding and inspiring.

What stood out most wasn’t just the cleaning rituals or tools, but the atmosphere. With glasses of wine in hand, collectors shared stories about their first watches, their grail pieces, and what each timepiece meant to them personally. It was less about products and more about people - a true celebration of community.
